Key Points of the Requirement
Define the intended vehicle make, model and year, steering-column interface, wheel diameter, spoke design, and left- or right-hand-drive configuration. State whether the wheel must integrate an airbag module, horn, multifunction controls, heating, paddle shifters, hands-on detection, illumination, or CAN/LIN communication. Material and finish requirements should cover the frame, foam density, leather or synthetic wrapping, stitching, color tolerance, abrasion resistance, and VOC limits.

The main cost drivers are the metal or composite frame, molded foam, wrapping material and manual stitching, switches and electronic modules, heating or sensing elements, assembly, testing, and packaging.
